New 138/25 kV substation with one 30 MVA transformer and two 138 kV transmission links was built and commissioned on request from city of the Red Deer to meet growing demand for electricity in the developing area. Timberlands 209S is a double power tap, single transformer substation, with a second transformer future extension. Aspecto engineers conducted factory acceptance test of the protection components and site commissioning of the whole protection and control system, instrument commissioning of PT/CT measuring transformers, supported SCADA and DCS system commissioning.
