ABB engaged our engineers to commission 132 kV and 220 kV busbar protection with ABB REB 500, transformer protection for four 300 MVA transformers with ABB RET 316 and AREVA P120/121, entire protection systems for 33kV switch gear with 14 feeders, as well as high impendence 33 kV busbar protection with ABB’s SPAJ 115C. Aspecto’s Managing director, said, “The project in Sharjah has been very challenging. Our extensive experience helped us to fulfill the MV and HV commissioning tasks on different manufacturers’ systems while the 800 MW power plant was in full operation”.
